John Gilbert
John is experienced in fully insured and self-funded programs as well as the administration of Employee Benefit Plans. He is a past member of the Employers Council on Flexible Compensation and is working towards his Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation through the Wharton School of Finance. John is also versed in Section 125 spending accounts and can assist you with their administration and service.
Locally, John is active in the Greater Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce, the Reno Rotary Club and medical cost containment organizations. He is a member of the Self Insurance Institute of America and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. In addition, he is active in Leadership Reno/Sparks as a member of the Alumni Association as well as other civic organizations.
Pete Gilbert
Pete has been in the insurance business for 24 years offering group and individual insurance, specializing in health and life. Pete enjoys meeting with people to discuss and analyze their insurance needs. He is able to do this based on his knowledge and expertise of the products he offers. Pete can work with you one on one to make sure you're buying a plan that fits your needs and is at the most competitive cost available.
Pete is a member of the Health Underwriters Accociation, and the National Association of Life Underwriters, with the designation of LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow). He is also a member of and works with various associations and Chamber of Commerce organizations in Northern Nevada and California. Pete is currently an active member with the Reno Sunrise Rotary Club and the Prospectors Club at Harrah’s.
